We have visitors travelling from London to Scotland walking and cycling the Lands End to John O Groatsand walking the Leeds to Liverpool canal . Blackpool pleasure beach is a 30 minute drive away. Southport Botany Bay Wigan Pier and Lancaster are also a short journey away. Manchester and the Trafford centre are 30 miles away and Liverpool and Liverpool airport are both about 25 minutes by car. Local towns include Chorley Wigan Leyland and Preston City. We certainly seem to be in the centre of things.The railway and bus station are ten minutes walk and we are happy to book a taxi for you if the stroll with luggage seems dauntingM6 and M61 motorway networks nearby. The proprietor Jackie has appeared on the Loose Woman TV programme ranting about the state of the bacon sold in Supermarketsin this country today so we invite you to try our Ashley Farm bacon sausage and free range eggs ..Thick tasty and very fresh!!
