AMG:
"Prior to this album, Al Green never had a number one song. The title track, "Let's Stay Together," achieved that status and held it for nine consecutive weeks. Green's ingenuity produced one of the all-time classics, which has the bounce of a dance cut and the passion of a ballad. The dynamic soul singer's whispers, animated cries, and riffing enhance his already stirring delivery. This album was sold on the strength of the title track as there were no other selections to grace the Billboard charts. However, this album includes the timeless gem "How Can You Mend a Broken Heart" and lesser-known beauties like the exulting "Judy," the cookin' testimonial "I Never Found a Girl," and the soothing blues effort "It Ain't No Fun to Me." The Arkansas native and his creative partner Willie Mitchell season these selections with lucid rhythm arrangements complemented by the faint strums of a guitar and brawn, unchiding horns."

Andy Summers & Robert Fripp - I Advance Masked

The first of the Summers Fripp collaboration (the second is Bewitched)
Is an Experimental in two Guitarists Music, it can be described as Minimalist
But as any of Fripp's playings it is reach and ever changing when you listen, as you
Should, closely. While Summers plays the Rhythm and Melody Fripp is looping
Around with his Guitar which is connected to Synthesizer thus creating floating
Sounds.
Although it may sound threatening the out come is sometimes pastoral and after
Few times very rewarding.

Bachelors Of Art - This Tribal Courthouse LP

Unknown female-fronted goth band from Columbia, SC.
Strong song material but the production could be much better. The drums sound weak and the overall sound is quite muddy. Too bad. But don't let that be a reason not to download it.
The lyrics to 'Talking Of Michelangelo' and 'I'll Come Back' are taken from "The Wasteland and Other Poems" by T.S. Eliot.
Last song is an instrumental.

Stevie Wonder (1964 & 1966)

Stevie Wonder - At The Beach (1964)

Stevie at the Beach is the fifth album by Motown singer-songwriter Stevie Wonder released on the Tamla label in 1964. This album, with the exception of the mild hit Hey Harmonica Man, was a concept album of sorts, focusing on beach and surfer anthems as an attempt to get Wonder to now sing surf tunes. But much like the label's attempts to first make Wonder the teenage version of Ray Charles and then for one album as a lounge singer, it failed to connect with audiences. Stevie Wonder wouldn't have another hit until 1965 when he was finally allowed to showcase his musical talents more.

SANGO TIME: Mangelepa in Malawi!

"Based in Nairobi, Les Mangalepa are sovereigns in their own musical kingdom 'Le Royaume Mangalepa' - which extends far beyond Kenya to encompass Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Malawi, Zambia and DR Congo (ex-Zaïre). "The story of Les Mangalepa starts in the 1960s when, as members of Baba Gaston’s band in Lubumbashi, they led the migration of musicians out of Zaïre and into Eastern Africa,

Morcegando: Eric Steckel Band

Eric Steckel Band (2006) Live at Havana
