Gathered Tracks Vol.6 is a collection of live bonus and unreleased tracks from three Richard & Linda Thompson reissues and the excellent Linda Thompson retrospective Dreams Fly Away. There are a lot of cool tracks here, though, from what I’ve read, RT was less than thrilled with the reissues and had nothing to do with their release. The Linda Thompson comp includes two tracks from the aborted 1980 Gerry Rafferty Sessions for the R&L classic Shoot Out The Lights. And, it’s great to hear these tapes in crisp and clean fidelity for a change. This collection runs over 80 minutes, sorry. Thanks to wr for the front and back cover art.
